York Racecourse is located just 1.5 miles from the railway station and the city centre. Set in 150 acres of scenic parkland called the Knavesmire, it is a hugely popular conference and events venue with its award-winning, modern facilities, beautiful surroundings, and first-class catering, all cooked from scratch in our on-site kitchens. Most of our rooms have an abundance of natural light, all have air conditioning, and many have expansive views across the racetrack. We have 4 fantastic conference and dining areas which are supported by 18 smaller breakout spaces suitable for workshops and smaller meetings, and additional exhibition suites
