The Training and Conference Place, based in Stevenage, is a new events venue for hire. Well equipped with high quality accommodation, technology, support and hospitality, The Training and Conference Place can offer 2 large rooms able to facilitate from 10 to 65 delegates. Not only are we proud to offer a personalised event service that can be tailored to suit our customers needs and budget, we are also proud to be a social enterprise.

At The Training and Conference Place, we offer real life work experience to volunteers and support them to achieve accredited qualifications in hospitality, and business administration. Our volunteers may have been affected by substance misuse, a criminal record, homelessness or missed education, making them hard to reach, vulnerable members of society. By offering those positions and work experience, our volunteers learn responsibility, routine and structure, and they learn that they are a valued team member all of which goes towards building their self confidence and belief along with the accredited qualifications that we source for them. We hope that the support and guidance that we give to our volunteers will enable them to find paid employment in the future.

We also work alongside our sister social enterprise, All Seasoned, a cafe and catering business based in Letchworth, who provide all of our delicious healthy lunches made from locally sourced ingredients.The Training and Conference Place is a lovely environment to work in. It’s light, spacious and contemporary with comfortable furniture, lots of natural light and all the IT/AV you would expect from a high quality conference centre. We are keen to earn a reputation for high standards in customer services and feel that we can offer a personalised, all-inclusive service for all of our customers.
