The Science Museum, which celebrated its centenary in June 2009, has been utilising its numerous galleries, auditoria, special exhibitions and dedicated conference suites for events since 1992.
With over 15,000 objects on display, the Science Museum is not only one of the world’s most popular museums, it is also home to more original ‘world-first’ exhibits than any other museum dedicated to science, technology and medicine.
Eight core galleries are available for hire before 10.00 or after 18.00 daily, ranging from the traditional to the contemporary and interactive, covering a broad spectrum of subjects. Two contrasting daytime conference venues, the IMAX cinema, a vast blank-canvas space, motion theatre and a rolling programme of special exhibitions and specialist subject galleries of varying size are also available.
The museum also offers an innovative range of cost-effective entertainment options and unique branding features. From guided gallery tours orthemed treasure hunts, to using the eight-metre high Energy Ring and central plasma screens for messages to welcome your guests, the Events team will help you create a spectacular and memorable event at this award-winning national visitor attraction
