The stylish galleries of the Royal Museum and Museum of Scotland, in the heart of Edinburgh’s Old Town, both offer unique and impressive backdrops for sumptuous dinners, glamorous award ceremonies, lively parties, conferences, and weddings.

The gracious, slender columns, arching staircases and glorious glass roof of the Main Hall in the Royal Museum offer a dramatic setting for evening events and can seat up to 650 guests for a dinner, or up to 1500 guests for a reception. The adjacent Museum of Scotland offers a chic and contemporary option for events, with stunning gallery spaces to suit smaller dinners for up to 150 guests, or large receptions for up to 500 guests. The Museum of Scotland can be used in conjunction with the Royal Museum.

Finally The Boardrooms in The Museum of Scotland, with views up to Edinburgh Castle and its own private roof terrace, is a fabulous option for smaller groups of 10 to 50 guests for meetings, lunches, presentations, intimate dinners and weddings.

Both museums can host conferences, meetings and seminars in their purpose built lecture theatres.

The museums offer spaces for both civil and religious services.
