You’d be forgiven for thinking that a Science Park is not an obvious venue for hosting an event, but you’d be surprised! Within its elegant, Grade II listed, 17th Century refurbished Jacobean Farmhouse, in which the Blenheim Room is situated, Begbroke Science Park offers a versatile selection of meeting and conference rooms to satisfy every need, from a discreet board meeting to theatre-style conference accommodating up to 70 delegates. These rooms combine traditional Jacobean-style features with the sophistication of modern conference facilities, including PA systems, presentation equipment and high speed wireless internet access – giving you the best of both worlds. To complement the charm and character of the Farmhouse, the adjoining walled garden is a superb option for larger functions where a marquee can be used in conjunction with the main conference room.
From your initial enquiry through to the day of the event, our dedicated conferencing team will work closely with you to tailor everything to your individual needs and ensure success. We also have arrangements with a number of well-known local hotels who will provide overnight accommodation at concessionary rates.
Finally, we pride ourselves on our high standard of catering. With good quality food in generous portions and freshly prepared in-house, our service is tailored to provide just what you want, when you want it! Alternatively, small groups can have lunch in our on-site restaurant where the menu changes daily.
