Steeped in history dating back to the mid-17th-century, Wimpole Hall is Cambridgeshire’s largest country house. Within 2,500 acres of rolling countryside and landscaped parkland, it is conveniently reached via the M11, A1, M25 and A14 and from Luton and Stansted Airports. Offering extremely high standards expected from a National Trust property, the Hall’s conference facilities are versatile and available in both the main house and self-contained Old Rectory; rooms can be used in conjunction. The Entrance Hall and Inner Hall are perfect for receptions of 90 standing whereas The Saloon is ideal for smaller meetings of 30 delegates theatre style. Banquets and boardroom meetings catering up to 30 can be arranged in the Dining Room, and The Restaurant, located in the Old Rectory, seats 100 and may be used for small conferences. The smaller Marshall Room is also situated in the Old Rectory and provides a space ideal for boardroom meetings or training sessions for groups of 16. The beautiful grounds host numerous outdoor activities and team-building exercises, and a marquee can be erected for large parties of 300. Product launches and events requiring staging, lighting, sound and projection are easily arranged by the professional team who will take care of every detail. Whether a working lunch or six-course, Georgian-style dinner, the kitchen will prepare delicious seasonal dishes created from herbs grown in the gardens and Home Farm cattle, reared and prepared for chef on the estate.
