Originally built as a warehouse in 1768, the historic Gewandhaus was destroyed by heavy bombing in 1945. In the 1960s, this remarkable building was rebuilt and used as a hotel. After complete renovation, the Gewandhaus Dresden opened its doors 1997. This hotel boasts a beautiful, distinct design that pairs Dresden’s baroque history with modern elements.
