The Fownes Hotel was previously a Glove Factory in the 19th Century and it has been sympathetically converted into a 61 bedroom hotel, with ample car parking. Ideally located in the centre of Worcester, with easy access to the M5, M42, M50 and the M6.
The John Fownes Suite, previously the Foremans Office, divides down into two equal sized halves. It benefits from natural daylight on both sides of the room overlooking the central courtyard and canal. Each room can hold up to 60 delegates theatre style or combined to a maximum of 120 people. The suite is also ideal for Dinner Dances holding up to 85 people around a central dance floor. This is an adaptable room, ideal for exhibitions with ground floor loading and easy access to the car park.
The Boardroom is also situated on the ground floor of the hotel with access through the Library. The Boardroom is decorated in rich oak panels with carver chairs and is ideal for a formal executive style meeting or equally a private dinner venue for up to 22 people.
The recently refurbished Clare Street Conference Centre is located in the hotel grounds. This has a combination of five meeting rooms ideal for everything from a one to one interview to a meeting for up to 15 delegates. Clare Street is perfect to be used as breakout rooms for the larger conferences.
