The Eastbank Centre is Greater Shepparton’s magnificent concert hall and function complex, and is also home to the Shepparton Art Gallery.
Once inside, a soaring arcade space introduces you to the main Atrium, with its Shepparton Art Gallery entrance, Gallery Gift Shop, Eastbank Cafe, Reception and Riverlinks Theatre Box Office.
On the ground level, two large timber-floored function rooms provide many options. With seats out, the Eastbank Concert Hall provides fully tiered seating for up to 850, in front of a 12m x 10m deep stage, fully equipped with stage lighting and audio visual facilities – the seats can be retracted to create a flat floor area. Operable walls separate the whole complex into zones.
On the first level, a long carpeted gallery space offers a range of possible uses. Three workshop rooms can be used individually for groups of up to 15, or opened into a single room to accommodate 65 in a formal set up. The architecture creates a space that is flooded with light day and night, affording views over adjacent Queens Gardens.
