CLIFFS PAVILLION
Situated in a prime position on Southend’s famous cliffs, the Cliffs Pavilion offers fantastic views across the Thames Estuary and is an exclusive venue for your event. It is perfect for a wide range of special
functions from a boardroom meeting for 10, a dinner dance for 600 or a conference for 1630.
With the recently refurbished Maritime and Admiral’s Rooms, the Pavilion
Restaurant, expansive Foyers and the exclusive Lexus Lounge, the Cliffs Pavilion has something for everyone.
THE PALACE THEATRE
Bringing the magic of the stage to Southend since 1912 when it opened as
the ‘Palace of Varieties,’ the theatre is a little bit of West End glamour in the heart of Essex.
The 603-seat theatre oozes 90-years of theatrical history with its plush red velvet seats, ornate boxes, elaborate chandeliers – and boards that have been trod by the likes of Ivor Novello, Sir Henry Irving, Dame Helen Mirren and Pierce Brosnan.
As well as being a perfect venue for conferences, with its intimate 100-seat ‘black-box’ Dixon Studio and Atrium Bar, the Palace Theatre is also an outstanding venue for training days and exhibitions.

your event will be personally catered for by our own creative and innovative team of chefs.
The sample menus reflect our passion for food and use only the freshest ingredients. We endeavour to make as much as possible in-house from canapés to cakes. We are happy to suggest a bespoke menu to incorporate any themes or special requests, thus making the best use of seasonal, local and organic produce.
