The Ye Olde Bell hotel is one of England’s oldest coaching inns, dating back to the 17th Century. The hotel successfully marries a traditional atmosphere and features such as oak panelled rooms, log fires and leaded windows, with the high standards of comfort and facilities expected from a modern hotel. Set in several acres of private landscaped grounds on the edge of Sherwood Forest, Ye Olde Bell is an ideal location to explore this historic region where legends are abound.
Each of our bedrooms is en-suite and many have fine views over our gardens, whilst others look out upon the open farmland.
The hotel has two excellent restaurants in which to dine. Restaurant 1650 has twice been awarded an AA rosette for its excellent cuisine and extensive selection of wines, and is considered one of the finest restaurants in the area. Our traditional lounge provides a relaxing location to enjoy your afternoon tea or an after dinner liqueur.
