White Vine House is situated in the heart of the ancient Cinque Port town of Rye. The hotel’s origins go back to the 13th century. A handsome Georgian frontage has been added since then but essentially the building retains much of its distinguished Medieval and Elizabethan character. The beautiful oak panelling in the Elizabethan Dining Room and the Club Room is amongst the treasures of Rye, dating from around 1560. There are five double rooms, a family room and one single. One has a four-poster bed. All have been refurbished and have beautiful period furniture and luxury bath or shower rooms. Rye itself with its cobbled streets, antique and craft shops and medieval citadel makes for an enchanting weekend or short break. There is also much to see in the area.
Facilities near hotel: Gym, golf, Jacuzzi, watersports, massage, sauna, sailing, shooting, squash, indoor swimming pool, tennis, riding all nearby
White Vine House is open all year
