There can be few town centre hotels that enjoy a setting such as ours. The Mill was built around 1750 and, surprisingly, was still in operation on the late 1970s when it was converted into award-winning flats and penthouses. In 1983 the old grain store took on a new lease of life when it opened as a restaurant, subsequently becoming the Wesum Lodge Hotel, Norfolk. We offer complimentary fishing for our guests by the River Wensum on our doorstep – chef will cook anything you catch! The Wensum Lodge Hotel is an ideal base for many local activities, including cycling, bird watching (Pensthorpe reserve only 5 min. away), fishing and horse racing (5 min. away). It is a 10 min. drive to Thursford, home of the famous Christmas Spectacular, and a 20 min. drive to Sandringham.
