The Smithaleigh Hotel (formerly The New Country Inn) is known locally as “The South Ham’s best kept secret”! Its secluded location is only a few hundred metres from the main Exeter to Plymouth A38, but is just far enough away from the main road to offer a relaxing and peaceful environment. We have excellent function facilities for small or large groups, a relaxing TV lounge and friendly bar area with WiFi access for our business guests. We offer a limited number of smoking rooms and an alfresco patio area when weather permits. We have a large free car park, and pets are welcome. For our disabled customers we have ground floor rooms, and wheelchair access to most public areas. Our location makes us an ideal venue for Business Meetings. We can provide either boardroom, classroom, or theatre style seating, with flipcharts and projector screen if required. We have WiFi in our Lounge area, with plenty of power points for your laptops. We can offer Tea & Coffee with a hot or cold buffet lunch, or a sit down meal if preferred.
