The Royal Scots Club is delighted to extend our facilities for accommodation, meetings and private dining. Operating like a hotel, but experiencing the different surroundings of a Club with old world charm.

Situated in one of Edinburgh’s finest Georgian streets, Abercromby Place and right in the heart of the city, The Royal Scots Club offers courtesy, personal service and warm hospitality at the very heart of the Club. The Club exudes a charm and ambiance which is both relaxed and comfortable for guests.

Guests relax in one of the 24 bedrooms each individually designed and traditionally furnished, with comfort and attention to detail being second to none. All rooms offer modern facilities, some with scenic views over the rooftops to Fife or to Queen Street Gardens. All bedrooms offer complimentary secure wireless connectivity.

The private meeting and dining rooms offer traditional charm for intimate gatherings to large presentations and receptions. Following an exciting 2 year re-development project, the venue is delighted to enhance their meeting facilities and in addition now offer the Princess Royal Suite, with a capacity for 160 guests banqueting style, 200 theatre style and 140 cabaret. The suite provides excellent meeting and events facilities, with fully integrated A/V and IT capabilities, including video-conferencing. The existing Hepburn Suite also benefits from a brand-new adjacent meeting room and bar, offering an extended breakout area for this popular room.

The smaller suites remain and are ideal for board meetings and dinners for up to 40 guests. The project also brings long-awaited lift facilities to all six floors of the townhouse, offering full disabled access to bedrooms, meeting and private dining rooms.
