The room can be set up in a theatre style or seating around a long rectangular table. This sumptuously furnished and comfortable room, situated on the first floor of The Capital has been beautifully hand-painted with a fresco scene along the length of the room. | The Eaton suite can seat a maximum of 14 guests at a round table or 20 guests in a theatre style. Situated on the first floor of the hotel, it is a wonderfully intimate private room, ideal for board meetings, entertaining important clients or for small lunch or dinner parties. The room can be hired for breakfast, lunch or dinner, for meetings, press launches and training days. The Eaton Suite is furnished with bespoke side-tables by David Linley, plush upholstery and pictures from the Levin family art collection adorn the walls. A window seat with sliding windows onto a small decorative balcony provides light and fresh air (though the room is also air-conditioned). This room manages to be cosy, luxurious and intimate – rather like being in a country house dining room but in miniature. Pre-dinner drinks receptions can be arranged in a separate area at an additional cost. | The Sitting Room on the ground floor is a “semi-private” room as access is through an archway rather than behind a closed door. Ideal for a dinner party of 12 seated at a round table and is relaxed and informal. Guests can be served drinks in the bar before dining. Situated in a quiet corner of the hotel the room was designed and furnished by Nina Campbell who has given it the feel of a luxurious sitting room. The room is used during the day to serve Afternoon Tea. At night, when the lights are dimmed, it becomes wonderfully intimate room to host dinner parties for friends. | |||||||||||
