St Edmund Hall wishes to maximise the use of its facilities during the Oxford vacations and welcomes conferences, courses and summer schools, of any size, during mid-March to mid-April and from the end of June to October.
Situated in the centre of the City of Oxford on the “High”, a few steps from Christ Church Meadows and the Isis, the great Examination Schools, Radcliffe Camera, the Cathedral and the bustling shops of the “Broad”, St Edmund Hall is well placed for sightseeing and shopping.
St Edmund Hall was the first college to sense the need for conference facilities in Oxford, and our twenty years experience shows. Many of the facilities, the great Wolfson Hall and adjacent rooms were built with conferences and banquets in mind. Most of our conferences come back year after year, particularly for the “high table” cuisine, and the professionalism of the College staff, knowing that they can have a relaxed, yet stimulating break, enjoying the ancient quadrangle or relaxing in the former churchyard that is now the college garden.
