The Society’s splendid rooms are very flexible and are perfectly suited to formal lectures, meetings, conferences and awaydays as well as social receptions. Together the Council Room, Entrance Hall and Meeting Room form an excellent conference suite, with the Entrance Hall doubling as reception area and registration space, and the Council Room as a serving area for refreshments, while the Council Room on its own makes an atmospheric and private setting for board meetings and presentations.
Recently refurbished, the main Meeting Room has state-of-the-art audio-visual facilities, while all the rooms are decorated in period style with beautiful furnishings, and important works of art as a backdrop.
We are centrally located in the heart of London, at Burlington House, Piccadilly, next door to the Royal Academy of Arts, one of London’s primary cultural venues.
The combination of an atmospheric historic venue with high quality personal service at reasonable rates (including special rates for charities) is why organisations as diverse as the BBC and the William Morris Society and the Venice in Peril Fund use our rooms for meetings, as a film location and for entertaining.
