The Moorland Garden Hotel is a popular venue for all types of corporate events. Located within Dartmoor National Park yet only 20 minutes from Plymouth City Centre, we offer a comfortable retreat for today’s businessperson. Situated on the A386 Plymouth-Tavistock road, the hotel is easily accessible, and is conveniently located adjacent to the Yelverton Links Golf Course.
Set in 9 acres of beautiful grounds, with superb views of the Tamar Valley, the hotel has 44 bedrooms, most overlooking the stunning landscape. The hotel has the benefit of a large car park, which is free for hotel guests and conference delegates.
As well as our magnificent chandelier-lit ballroom – perfect for celebrations, special occasions, conferences, seminars and weddings – we have four specialist rooms for hosting events, seminars, workshops and meetings.
We can host events for 2 to 170 delegates.
The layout of each room can be adapted to suit your requirements and will be set up with paper, pens, delegate name cards, flipchart, cordials, mineral water and wrapped sweets. A full range of audio/visual equipment is available by prior arrangement.
WiFi is available throughout the venue and is provided free of charge to all delegates. We offer competitive room rates and excellent value for money with our delegate rates, conference menus and refreshments.The extensive grounds are particularly suited to team building exercises and launches which can also incorporate a marquee. Delegates can relax in the hotel’s bars, the Dartmoor and the Mayflower, or enjoy afternoon tea on the lawn.

| The Crystal Room – is our largest suite which overlooks our gardens and Dartmoor National Park. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer plenty of natural daylight and panoramic views; with doors opening onto the lawns it is perfect for team-building, launches, exhibitions and meetings. It can accommodate up to 170 delegates or alternatively can be split into two sections.
