Newly refurbished in April 2009 – we are proud to reopen this gorgeous former 16th Century coaching inn, situated in the picturesque village of Lyddington, serving guests from the local community as well as from further afar, who come to enjoy the warm and relaxing hospitality on offer in the pub, restaurant or hotel.

The venue is extremely versatile and can accommodate various party sizes in either the restaurant or the bar.For larger functions we can cater for up to one hundred guests ranging from engagement drinks to retirement dinners.
The Marquess of Exeter also offers private dining and conference facilities for up to 12 guests in a private room.
