The Glen-yr-Afon House hotel has been specialising in conferences for over 33 years, and is well established as one of South Wales’ foremost privately owned venues for Corporate Meetings.
The Hotel itself has various conference rooms, ranging in capacity from the Octagonal Library, seating 20 delegates, up to the Victorian Function Suite for larger presentations. All are serviced by Syndicate Rooms that can be made available for those meetings that include a workshop format (prices available upon request).
The recent addition of Complimentary Wireless Broadband in the hotel means that delegates can send / receive e-mails and information whenever necessary throughout the day.

| Fully air conditioned, this room has 12 foot ceilings with 9 windows offering plenty of daylight. Some 19 lights illuminate the room. Black out facility here too. Immediately alongside this suite is a lounge, which can be used for breakaway groups, or for coffee breaks. There is easy access to this lounge from the car park – ideal for bringing in equipment etc. Also adjacent are private bar, and toilet facilities to complete a fully self-sufficient meetings facility. | The Library, ideal for the smaller group, and seating a maximum of 20 delegates boardroom style, and 25 in a theatre style layout. This is a highly distinctive room with an unusual conical shaped ceiling – octagonal in shape its panelled spired ceiling rises to a height of about thirty feet. The sense of space is heightened by large windows providing generous amounts of daylight. Eight ceiling and wall lights ensure that the room is well illuminated. There is of course, a full black out facility. The centre of the room is occupied by a magnificent oval mahogany table (20 delegates). Flip charts, projectors and screens fit comfortably into this unique meeting room. It is also a firm favourite for business dinners. | |||||||||||
