Nestled between the Science, Natural History and V&A Museums and the Royal Albert Hall in London’s cultural heartland, Imperial provides a truly inspirational environment for conferences. The area is served by excellent transport links to and from Heathrow Airport, Paddington and Victoria train stations and of course the West End and other central London locations.

From small meetings for 10 people to parties and dinners for 300 to large conferences for over 700, Imperial provides a professional, discreet and slick event service with award-winning in-house catering, superb audio-visual support and event staff who are with you from start to finish, helping you to plan and deliver every last detail.

Imperial Venues
Imperial offers a range of event spaces for meetings, conferences, dinners, parties and more. Some of our most popular spaces include:
• Great Hall – Imperial’s largest venue providing tiered seating for 740 or 415sq m of exhibition space
• Queen’s Tower Rooms – contemporary space overlooking the Queen’s Lawn and Tower ideal for exhibitions, dinners and receptions for up to 500. This room can also be separated into three smaller breakout spaces
• Seminar and Learning Centre – suite of ten meeting rooms for 10 to 65, breakout space and own reception
• Sir Alexander Fleming and Skempton Buildings – these buildings flank either side of Imperial College Road, and used together make an ideal conference venue for around 300 with ample breakout and catering space and foyer spaces for networking receptions

Accommodation
Ample and modern campus accommodation is available during summer months and specially discounted accommodation at local hotels can be provided throughout the year.

Grade II listed Victorian townhouse, ground floor with 3 rooms and private walled garden and own house team, licensed for weddings with Westminster Council. Built in 1889 and home to the College’s President & Rector.
58 Princes Gate 10 -/-/-/ –
Designed by Charles James Freake in the 19th century, this is a unique and characterful Edwardian townhouse with its own house team and garden terrace overlooking leafy Prince’s Gardens, London’s only privately owned public square. Set over 2 floors, this stunning venue is packed with restored features and a real sense of grandeur.
The Queens Tower Rooms 470 200 220 350 620 -/-/-/ –
This glass-fronted contemporary space overlooks the Queen’s Tower and Lawn. In the Summer guests can spill out onto the Terrace and enjoy the surroundings. This space can be also be split into three rooms or hired as a whole making it perfect for dinners, receptions, parties and exhibitions. The modern clean and neutral interiors give it style in its own right but it’s equally easy to dress up for those extra special events. This space works really well with the Great Hall for larger conferences.

The Queen’s Lawn is located in the centre of South Kensington campus and provides 1,600 sq metres of catering and exhibition space either as a standalone option or an adjunct from the Queen’s Tower Rooms
Great Hall 740 200 200 -/-/-/ –
Imperial’s single largest venue, the Great Hall is multi-purpose, providing seating for 740 theatre-style or 415 sq metres of exhibition space. Retractable seating provides a variety of flat-floored and tiered seating options for conferences, with each seat enjoying an uninterrupted line of vision. Experienced AV technicians are on hand to manage or support any technical aspect of your event. This space works well in combination with the Queen’s Tower Rooms for larger conferences.

Available in vacation periods, this wheelchair accessible suite of venues offers 3 bright contemporary lecture theatres, 7 seminar rooms including 3 interconnecting spaces, which can be used as a combined larger space.
SAF Building 320 -/-/-/ –
Available in vacation periods, this venue offers 2 lecture theatres and 4 seminar rooms, ideal for conferences or larger training events requiring breakout space. Located opposite the Queen’s Tower, this space also enjoys a large open foyer often used for welcome receptions or networking events.
Huxley Building 212 -/-/-/ –
Available in vacation periods, the Huxley Building offers 8 purpose-built lecture theatres equipped with AV facilities and 5 meeting rooms making it a great space for conferences
