The Belmont Hotel is an independently owned and run 75 bedroom hotel situated on a leafy New Walk. Run by the Bowie family for four generations,this historic property dates back to 1965 and has seen
significant investment over the years, so that sumptuous décor sits alongside contemporary furniture and the latest in wi-fi access in the elegantly proportioned meeting and bedrooms.

The Belmont is a great venue for meetings and conferences, with easy access to public transport – the railway station is walking distance away and there is a 70 space free car park on site. We have 10 meeting rooms in total and all are versatile spaces for up to 175 delegates.

We offer wi-fi internet access and the latest technology is available for presentations. So whether you’re meeting for an informal coffee in Jamie’s Bar or you need to get your team together more formally, we’ll be able to help. Enjoy great service, delicious food and a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

For Banqueting we have The Rose Room which links directly with the Rowan Room, ideal for large scale banqueting. We also have a wide selection of rooms for director’s dinners, boardroom lunches and private dining of various sizes. The Belmont Hotel offers great banqueting options from formal dinners to large scale buffets, champagne breakfasts or drinks receptions.
